Distillation Column & Plate Type Exchanger

TTS relies on ASME and structural code calculations for the detail design of vessels, vessel skids, stiffening rings, vessel and pipe supports and vessel nozzles.  Proven principles outlined in Blodgett, Megyesy and Moss are deployed in support of finite element pressure vessel design and analysis software.

Drawings are fabricator focused.  Details are easy to ready, with ordinate dimensioning from accessible vessel datum(s).  Flat patterning is used extensively for optimum nesting of plate material.

Fabrication Details

• Patterns provided for rings, cones & conical roofs, intersecting cylinders, cones, spheres and transition pieces (with appropriate NC controls)
• Drawing contents fully integrated with materials and quality systems
• Speed details for nozzles reflect internal projection, reinforcing and welding
• Data for plasma cutters showing pre-rolled reinforcing locations and patterns
